Baltic Porter brewed by Phillips and Garrison is second in Mash-up Series
Our Brewmaster, Daniel Girard, took a special trip out West to work with Matt Phillips of Phillips Brewing to create a bold, 8% ABV Baltic Porter that Victoria can be proud of! The brewing party had to end a few days later when Daniel and VP Mark had to head on back to Halifax. A limited batch of the beer will be release before the end of December, available in BC only.

Our web and graphic designer, Colin Allin, was based in Nicaragua. He was shot during a robbery and passed away on July 2nd. We may have lost our longest serving employee and close friend, but Colin’s memory lives on. Garrison established an annual $1,000 NSCAD scholarship for up-and-coming design students. The first Colin Allin Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a NSCAD student in January of 2012. Find details on how to apply here.

Garrison Designer Dies in Nicaragua
Garrison lost its' longest-serving employee, a talented designer and a close personal friend. Colin Allin was shot Jun 13 during a robbery outside his apartment in Managua and struggled for his life for nearly 3 weeks. Anemic, infected & weak, Mr & Mrs Allin allowed doctors to let Colin pass away. At 40, he was where he loved to be doing what he loved to do & he will be missed by many. RIP Buddy...
